SYNAQ | Zimbra Platform Upgrade for SYNAQ Cloud Mail
In keeping with SYNAQ's commitment to deliver and support superior email services, we are implementing a new version of our Zimbra platform for the SYNAQ Cloud Mail Service. This is being done to improve the platform experience.
The current platform is being upgraded to Zimbra version 8.8.15. The preparations for this project have been extensive and we have completed the necessary vendor, architectural and procedural steps to ensure that the upgrade is as seamless as possible.
The Zimbra platform upgrade implementations have been planned for the weekend of 26 October. The changes will occur as follows:
• First change window: 22:00 on 25 October, 06:00 on 26 October (Note: All users will not be able to send or receive emails during this time).
• The second change will occur over two change windows: 22:00 on 26 October, 06:00 on 27 October; and 22:00 on 27 October and 06:00 on 28 October. (Note: All users will not be able to send or receive emails for a one-hour period during one of these time slots. This will depend on the user batch they are in).
We believe that the upgrade will prove to be beneficial and improve the overall SYNAQ Cloud Mail experience. This is due to the number of bug fixes and performance improvements that will be applied as part of the process.
